UI Accepting Bowl Game Ticket Orders

IOWA CITY – The Iowa Athletic Ticket Office is now accepting orders for possible bowl games involving the nationally ranked Iowa football team.

As always, the purchases of bowl game tickets made through the UI Ticket Office helps the UI Athletics Department meet its financial obligation to the bowl game and guarantee seat locations in the stadium that are next to other Hawkeye fans.

• The UI Athletics Ticket Office will begin accepting orders for possible bowl games via its online ticket window at hawkeyesports.com on Thursday, Nov. 17. No phone orders will be accepted for bowl games until after the official announcement of our bowl site.

• Fans of the Hawkeyes who do not have a current online account are invited to send an e-mail to tickets@hawkeyesports.com requesting assistance in creating on online ticket account with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

• All general public and UI faculty/staff 2009 Iowa Football season ticket holders and all members of the National I-Club will receive a bowl game ticket application in the mail next week.  UI students who purchased season tickets for the 2009 season will receive an e-mail from the UI Athletic Ticket Office next week with details specific to student tickets.

• The deadline to place an order for bowl game tickets and retain UI Athletics Department ticket priority is Friday, Dec. 4.

• Orders for bowl game tickets will be filled based on the customers’ current ticket priority.

• There will be limits placed on the number of tickets that can be ordered to some of the bowl games that might invite the Iowa Hawkeyes.
